A complimentary conference registration (non-transferrable) is offered to a school board member or superintendent with each fully-paid, two-day conference registration from within a school district. There is no limit on the number of complimentary registrations per district, although the invitation is extended only to the superintendent and school board members. School board member(s) and/or superintendent(s) are welcome to come for one or both days of the conference. This offer excludes pre-conference and hands-on workshops.
Superintendents and school board members are encouraged to attend a complimentary Administrator’s Forum on Friday, March 9, 10 - 11 am. The Forum features Linda Forward, Director, Office of Educational Improvement and Innovation, Michigan Department of Education.
You are also invited to bring one other guest (Board Member, Director of Curriculum, Finance, or Technology) to this complimentary forum.
Please use this form to register your district's school board member or superintendent for the conference as well as the Administrator’s forum. If you have any questions, please contact the MACUL office at (517) 882-1403.
Call for Speakers
Accepted primary presenters will receive complimentary registration to the 2012 MACUL Conference. Co-presenters are required to pay full registration costs. Projectors will be furnished in presentation rooms, but speakers should bring their own computer. Presentations are 60 minutes in length. For questions, contact macul@macul.org.
Note for High School Teachers/Staff: The MACUL conference dates are set years in advance and it is unfortunate that for 2012 the MME testing window was set for March 6 – 8; the MACUL conference is March 7 – 9. It is hoped that high school staff who are impacted by these overlapping dates will still be able to attend the conference at the discounted one day rate on Friday, March 9.
Contact MACUL Executive Director Ric Wiltse if you would like to support the 2012 MACUL Conference as a Major ($5,000 in cash or in-kind) or General ($1,000) sponsor. Sponsors have first choice of booths on the exhibit floor, if submitted by September 1. Download the 2012 Sponsor brochure to see details of perks and benefits.
