2 Instructional Designer positions, Michigan Virtual University
Position Summary
The Instructional Designer’s role is to create engaging and effective online learning activities, elements and complete courses for learners taking courses through the Michigan Virtual School and Michigan LearnPort. Also, the instructional designer provides guidance and assistance to team members in the course development process (analysis, design, production, implementation and evaluation), in a manner that promotes the use of sound instructional design principles. The instructional designer will use production tools such as Dreamweaver, Audacity, Articulate, Lectora, Adobe Flash and SoftChalk for course elements that other team members cannot develop, will integrate all course elements including those developed at MVU and those licensed from others, and will provide input about overall, systematic course development strategy on an on-going basis. Blackboard, Moodle and Meridian Global LMS are the platforms used for most course delivery.
