About SIGTech

SIGTech is the Special Interest Group for technology, technicians and technical issues in education.  

Our Mission

We are committed to educational technology and those school district personnel charged with implementing, integrating, and maintaining it.

SIGTech's goals for the 2011/2012 school year include:

1. Maintain membership at a healthy level.
2. Provide professional development opportunities based on member feedback.
3. Continue collaboration with SIGTC.
4. Promote SIGTECH activities on state technology directors listserv (techc).
5. Publish at least two articles in the journal.
6. Maintain a useful web site presence.
7. Actively support the State Technology Directors Meeting.
8. Investigate further collaborations with MSBO, CoSN, MAEDS.
9. Provide at least two full day or four half day sessions during Pre-Con
10. Assist in staffing at the Annual Conference
